01. Is laser surgery safe and available near me?
Absolutely. Following basic assessments to determine if your prescription is stable and your eye health is good, laser surgery is typically safe. It is performed as an outpatient procedure, allowing you to return home on the same day. The majority of individuals can resume their regular work within 2 to 3 days. It is not recommended during pregnancy or if your prescription continues to fluctuate.
02. When should I get done with cataract surgery, and what lens will I get?
As soon as you start to experience blurry vision, difficulty in vision at night, or a milky white covering on the eye lens, please get your cataract surgery done. Johnson & Johnson PureSee IOL lens will be used for your treatment of cataract, the best lens available in the market.
03. I have diabetes. How often should I check my eyes and what treatments are there?
Get a dilated retina check at least once a year, sooner if you notice blurring, floaters, or sudden vision loss—these are urgent. Treatments include laser, injections, and surgery; many are day-care. Early treatment saves sight and reduces travel and cost.
04. Can glaucoma be cured? Will I need lifelong treatment?
Glaucoma damage cannot be reversed, but we can stop or slow it. Treatment may be eye drops, laser, or surgery; many patients need regular drops long-term. Yearly screening after age 40 (earlier if family history, diabetes, or high eye pressure) is important, even if vision feels normal.
